Avantor Prevail HPLC columns exhibit long column lifetime in both highly aqueous and highly organic mobile phases. Avantor Prevail HPLC columns are silica based except for Prevail Carbohydrate ES. The stability of these phases is such that a single column can be switched between highly aqueous for analysis of highly polar analytes and highly organic for strong retention of hydrophobic analytes. Avantor Prevail HPLC columns are stable from highly organic to highly aqueous. Avantor Prevail HPLC columns are specialty phases for specific applications. Avantor Prevail HPLC columns provide excellent sensitivity with microbore and ELSD applications.

Waters Corp Symmetry Shield RP18 Sentry Guard Cartridge, 100Å, 5 µm, 3.9 mm X 20 mm, 2/pk
These reversed-phase columns contain Waters patented embedded polar group technology that “shields” the silica’ residual silanol surface from highly basic analytes. The reduced silanol activity for the SymmetryShield RP18 column significantly improves peak shape and resolution.
